Der US-amerikanische Softwareriese Microsoft mit Sitz in Redmond will unter dem Label "Microsoft 365" das Betriebssystem Windows 10 und Office 365 und weitere Anwendungen wie Mobility- und Security-Services künftig im Bundle anbieten. Insgesamt stehen zwei Versionen von Microsoft 365 parat: Eine Enterprise Edition und eine Business Version.

Die Enterprise-Version ist ab sofort verfügbar, die Business Edition soll später folgen. Microsoft 365 Enterprise ist quasi der Nachfolger von Microsoft Secure Productive Enterprise und umfasst Office 365 Enterprise, Windows 10 Enterprise und Enterprise Mobility + Security.

Microsoft 365 Business ist vor allem für KMUs konzipiert und umfasst Office 365 Business Premium, Security- und Management-Funktionen für Office Apps und Windows 10 Geräte als auch eine dezentrale Konsole für den Einsatz von Security-Geräte und Unterstützung für weitere Anwender.
